Mark Lawson Antiques Announces Professional Association With Sothebys.com
Mark Lawson, proprietor of Mark Lawson Antiques, Inc., is pleased to announce a new professional association with Sothebys.com, the online-auction arm of Sotheby’s, the renowned and respected auctioneers based in London, with offices all over the globe. Mr. Lawson will be conducting quarterly online auctions through Sothebys.com and will feature complete estates, with antiques and fine art from the greater Capital Region of New York, including western New England. The first online auction is slated for April 2002.
Mr. Lawson, who has established and maintains a respected business in the aforementioned region, owns and operates Mark Lawson Antiques, Inc., a gallery in Saratoga Springs, NY. He specializes in estate liquidation with an emphasis on fine antique decorative arts, including furniture, fine art and Oriental rugs, as well as fine estate jewelry. In addition, he underwrites the popular Antiques Roadshow on the local PBS affiliate, WMHT TV-17. Mr. Lawson conducts appraisals, free of charge, in his gallery from 9 a.m. until noon, Monday through Friday, and makes house calls to all areas of the Capital District.
